Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager at Papaya, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and fostering strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, developing and maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.


  • Business Expansion - Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans to achieve organizational goals. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, affiliations, and collaborations.
  • Marketing Growth and Revenue Generation - Achieve and exceed growth and revenue targets through effective lead generation, prospecting, and conversion strategies. Collaborate with the UA and Branding team to develop compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Client Relationship Management - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction. Actively engage with clients to identify opportunities for scale.
  • Market Research and Analysis - Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities. Analyze data and industry insights to develop informed business strategies.
  • Strategic Planning - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with company objectives. Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities and progress.


  • 2+ years of experience in  Business Development.
  • Proven track record of successful business development and sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of online, digital and offline marketing dynamics and business trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Results-driven with a strategic mindset.
