Papaya is a mobile games company looking for a sharp and passionate Game Operations Manager. In this role, you will be part of our winning Operations Team responsible for enabling ongoing live operation activities utilizing our in-house developed Backend Admin System affecting thousands of players across the world on multiple cross-platform games.

As a Game Operations Manager, you will have to operate our Backend Admin System and take part in related technical aspects of making ideas into reality while working closely with our Monetization, Art, Product & R&D departments to ensure the smooth running of all-new features, promotions, marketing events, live A/B tests, VIP special treatment and much more.



Responsibilities

  • Operating monetization & product activities across multiple games through the company Back-End Admin system: setting up promotions, controlling game features, creating pricing configurations, segmentation, etc. 
  • QA of the promotions/configurations/features.
  • Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Live Operations Calendar and AB Tests in the production environment throughout different time zones, games & platforms
  • Work alongside with QA team to make sure new features are developed & released according to the planned vision & requirements
  • Daily monitoring of ongoing operations
  • Work closely with Monetization, Product, VIP, Art, R&D departments to make ideas into reality

Requirements

  • Strong computer skills, and the ability to operate multiple applications and platforms simultaneously 
  • Used to work with back-office/admin/ CRM tools are a big plus.
  • Strong problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
  • Proactive and creative with the drive to improve and continuously learn
  • Exceptional time management skills & workload prioritization
  • Availability to work off-hours per need
  • Background in gaming (preferred, but not mandatory)
  • Open-minded, think out of the box, look for solutions to solve issues
  • Precision, attention to every detail (QA background is welcome)
  • Quick learner
  • English proficiency both spoken and written

Advantages:

  • Experience as Technical Operation Specialist/ Configuration Specialist /Technical Support/ Technical Project Manager/ Business Operation Specialist 
  • Previous work experience in a related field – Mobile Gaming Big Advantage (but not mandatory)
  • Technical background (Backend Systems Operations / Programming / SQL knowledge)
