We’re looking for a Technical Artist who is excited about the game industry.

As a Tech Artist, you will work closely with the Game Designers, Lead Artists and Lead Programmers, advising on technical resources, researching new techniques. Maintain tools and pipelines, and prepare digital files of finished artwork to be efficiently integrated in our mobile games.

Responsibilities


  • Liaising between heads of programming and design teams.
  • Import assets & animations, and implement them correctly into the game engine, ensuring the product quality.
  • Ensuring final art runs to required visual resolutions and ratios.
  • Provide hands-on support to artists and engineers regarding asset performance and validation.
  • Solving complex technical issues during development.
  • Investigate and implement new techniques and tools enhancing the workflow and performance.


Requirements


Requirements 

  • Familiarity with game systems and the game development process.
  • Ability to identify the best tools and software to maximize game delivery.
  • Creative mindset and ability to overcome technical challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with differences between creative and technical teams
  • Knowledge in: 
  • Photoshop.
  • Unity (compression methods, optimization, UI system and animation systems).
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of art and animation pipelines.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in the gaming industry.
  • Shader development experience.
  • Scripting skills.
