Technical Art Team Leader

Description

We’re looking for a passionate, fully-fledged, Technical Art Team Leader for our Art department. The team is responsible for creating, maintaining and debugging our LiveOps, using Asset Bundles.

Working closely with the Art Director and R&D department, and with constant communication with our Operations department, you will be in charge of a crucial team in our games ecosystem.

Responsibilities


  • Manage and prioritize the team’s day-to-day tasks.
  • Be the focal point for tech artists within the Art department, and work alongside the monetization, animation and R&D teams.
  • Mentor and grow strong tech artists for the team.
  • Create clean workflows across multiple departments.
  • Help with the development of our LiveOps - in both scale and quality.

Requirements


  • 2-3 years as a technical artist in a gaming company
  • Experience with management
  • A highly organized individual who can accurately estimate and delegate tasks to team members.
  • Fluent in Unity from end to end, with a deep understanding of the Asset Bundle pipeline.
  • Keen attention to detail, highly organized and a people person, able to work under, and plan tight schedules.
  • Proficient in Photoshop, optimization techniques, effects, Particles and Unity animations, efficient hierarchy building, and the prefab inheritance system.
  • Good understanding of Git and Jira.

  • Knowledge in shaders, Spine, scripting, or 3D modeling/rendering workflows.
